Today I also started a poem of metaphor that has been on my mind for a couple of years. A good writing has to sit in your mind like a fine wine. If I have learned anything about writing I have learned that. Writing is no more than a tool, as a hammer, or a pencil, or a piece of paper. Writing is a method of relaying thought, and the thought is the fine wine, my writing is the glass to hold it. ;O) Look for the writing later this week. I will post it on this blog only for a day, then take it back off until I have the copyright regristration form in the mail.
I also seem to keep bumping into two nice young ladies staying here at the hotel. Not that I’m complaining as they are easy on the eyes. They seem to be college friends, or at least I’ve not noticed anything “funny” yet, if you know what I mean ;O). Earlier today I bumped into them while at the bike rack, and one said I should go for a dip in the pool, it’s a good time. I said something about liking going out there at night. I came in tonight and guess who was in the pool, yep. :OP I changed into my swim shorts in record time and hit the pool. They were both there and I talked to them for a little while, which is odd because I get so nervous around ladies and completely botch conversations, so I usually clam up and sit there. Not this time though, it was really nice, I guess because there is no pressure. I know we are all just on vacation, and they seem too nice to be crazies looking for a wild time, and I would not hit on them in that way. So it was just conversation, but a nice way to end the day. :O)
Enjoy the picture show….

Some flower that grows as a vine.

Some pictures at a really old military fort.

Pictures from the Hemingway home.

Notice the last line of this letter to Hemingway, the man say's "My son, Norman, will show you around"... LOL

A dog walking across two ropes at one of the street shows. At the end of the show the dog collects money from the crowd and puts it in a bucket for the owner. ;O)

A really cool tree.

lol i like the part where you changed in record time. Thats funny. I really like the picture of the tree with the ocean in the background....very pretty. On a random note, corey and i were on the couch today and I started to laugh. It was random but all those times when we would play feet wars popped into my head. lol im surprised we didnt tear the cough apart sometimes. Ahh good times. :)
